Charles Duke and Friends: Chéri Harlem Residency (Free)

  • Chéri Harlem 231 Malcolm X Boulevard New York, NY, 10027 United States (map)

“Charles Duke and Friends” first began as a Cheri concert aimed at presenting an unforgettable evening featuring moving music and Charles’ unique songwriting lens interpreted through his voice and the incredible voices of some of his closest musical friends and colleagues.

This year, "Charles Duke and Friends" has expanded into a Cheri Harlem residency, a five-week event every Wednesday from March 30-April 27, 2016. In addition to musical performances, it includes the stunning visual art exhibit “Musical Vibrations” by Canadian artist Rachel Natalie Rawlins.

You are personally invited each Wednesday to come celebrate life, love and friendship here in one of Central Harlem’s most elegant and inviting spaces Chéri Harlem. Maya Angelou said, “my mission in life is not simply to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor and some style.”

All performance donations and 10% of artwork sales will go to music scholarships for at-risk youth at MindBuilders Creative Arts Center, Bronx, NY

We invite you to come thrive.
